Special Education Teacher interested in working with students in grades K-6 with mild to severe disabilities. Experience working with students with intense needs preferred. This position is working in a self-contained classroom, providing push in services in the GenEd setting when appropriate. Building academic skills is the expectation of this classroom.

• Current training (or willingness to be trained) in Handle with Care, Basic First Aid, and CPR
• Understanding of Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans

Job Qualifications:

Valid Indiana License in Mild or Intense Intervention (Intense preferred) (or willingness to acquire further certification).
